Last Chance: Poll Watcher Training Starts Tomorrow Night – Plus All County Polling Locations
Hello Everyone!
Election Day (Tuesday, November 4, 2025) is almost here, and there’s one final Poll Watcher training beginning tomorrow evening (Monday, October 20). If you can help protect the integrity of voting in our area, please jump in—this is a short, two-night online training and then a 4-hour shift on Election Day.
What you’ll do:

Serve as a poll watcher for a 4-hour shift at a polling location in Alleghany County

Observe and report, per training guidance (non-confrontational, rules-based support)
Training (2 nights, online)

Starts: Tomorrow, Monday, October 20 (and continues the following Monday night, October 27)

Can’t do the training but still want to help?
You can volunteer by standing with candidates outside the 40-foot boundary at any county polling location—no formal training required.
