Join Us July 12! ACDCVA Rally

The work of democracy continues, and so will we.
The March 28 demonstration in Covington and on the Jefferson Avenue bridge in Clifton Forge was a meaningful act of civic understanding and resolve.
In a community where politics often run strongly conservative, people chose to stand up publicly, peacefully, and without apology for democratic values and honest government. That alone made the day significant.
Just as important, the public response suggests there is more strong, quiet support for honesty in this community than many may have realized. We take encouragement from that and will stay the course. Our job now is to keep building: keep the message community-focused and issue-based, encourage supporters to share their voices, answer misinformation with facts, and continue modeling respectful public engagement.
People saw this rally. They saw their neighbors show up. That visibility matters, because it builds momentum and reminds others they are not alone.
Now is the time to keep organizing, keep reaching out, keep getting people to the polls, and keep working for honest, accountable government. The work of democracy continues, and so will we.
“This event continues the important and long-overdue conversation in our community. While there were strong opinions on all sides, the overwhelming public response was supportive and curious—not hostile. Thank you to everyone who continues to stand up, speak out, and show up.”
